Our fruit trees did very well in 2011. We had lots of nectarines, plums, loquats, pomegranates and Japanese persimmons. We grew lots of different varieties of squashes and melons. |

The garden is flourishing. The snails are multiplying. Their habit of encrusting other objects in the garden is surprising. |

Snow in February 2008 was a real surprise. Thankfully we only lost a couple of plants. Luckily the nets saved a lot of our vegetables and kept them warm during the "big freeze". |
